This term we’ve been creating some video bible readings. Here one on Matthew 13!

Matt Anderson answers the question, “How far can I go with the opposite sex before it’s a sin”?

It’s a good question… but is it the right  question? Imagine if you just got married to the most amazing person who you loved deeply with all your heart. And then asked “honey how far can I go with others? “Can I kiss, make out, have sex?” No one would in their right mind… unless they really enjoyed sleeping on the couch!

It can be similar with our relationship with God. He who created all you see, from the most intricate butterfly to the most majestic mountain, was willing to come from grand majesty to die a horrendous death for you. He who formed you and lovingly knows you did this so that you may be in love with him and have an abundantly full life with him, Forever!

When we truly understand our God… sex, flirting, dating and all that stuff falls into its right place… behind the splendour of knowing him.

I would like to change the question to “Where are you looking? Are you looking to your loving creator for satisfaction and fulfilment? or a boyfriend or girlfriend ?

This term is a great term to invite your friends to youth! Here is a list of all the questions we’re gonna be answering this term. Why not ask your friend this question. “If you could ask God 1 question what would you ask?” See what their response is. Then invite them to the night that answers their question!
