This term we are looking at Jesus walk of death, his DEATH ROW, from the garden of Gethsemane (Mark 14:32 & John 18:1) to the judges seat called Gabbatha (John 19:13) to the hill where he was ultimatly crucified, called Golgotha (John 19:17), the place of the skull and finally to the garden where he is buried and rises to new life appearing to Mary (John 19:41).
This week we will be looking at Jesus crucifixion, death and burial. Why he died, why it’s important, why it should mean the world to you. It’s a great week to bring a friend to hear what Jesus has done for them!
What did Jesus endure for you? Easter is a reminder of Jesus death in your place, for your sins. It was his love and your sin that held Jesus to the cross. Below is an easter vid Mars Hill Church produced for easter 09. Why not read through John 18-19 and reflect on what Jesus did for you. If you’re not a Christian and would like to find out what the fuss about Jesus is head here.
